Will, I have to defend IE here (I use Firefox, for the rocerd) Running Safari on Mac, running Firefox on Windows, running IE on Windows: It's all the same. Even Lynx is exploitable.I remember a post somewhere with a guy whining My server was hacked! They have my password! I changed it and they got my new one too! . Someone responded You could have a keylogger on your machine . His response? That's not possible, I'm on a mac! .To be honest, I have nothing against Macs. Nothing against Linux. Nothing against Firefox. But I also have nothing against IE. They're all equal. If you've opened an attachment (which is what most viruses are, actually, they rely on human stupidity), any one of those browsers could be hijacked. Macs/Linux/Firefox almost give a false sense of security, when people start thinking that they're immune to everything just because they're not running IE. That's not true.Anyway, completely off topic, maybe I'll go post a blog entry on this, instead of cluttering up Jeremy's comments.
